A Notice of Inventory Completion for ancestors and belongings from the West Sacramento, previously identified as YOL-S103 and possibly CA-YOL-27, have been published in the federal register.

The Notice includes the following:
Human remains representing at least two individuals have been identified from the site in West Sacramento, identified as YOL-S103, which is possibly CA-YOL-27 (UCD Accession 461). There is a total of four associated funerary objects (one of which is currently missing). The three present associated funerary objects are two mammal bones and one bone awl. The one lot of currently missing associated funerary objects is one lot of unidentified missing material. The human remains and cultural items were collected by Bill Pritchard in 1964. The cultural affiliation is with the Patwin, Miwok, and Nisenan Tribes: Buena Vista Rancheria of Me-Wuk Indians of California; Cachil DeHe Band of Wintun Indians of the Colusa Indian Community of the Colusa Rancheria, California; California Valley Miwok Tribe, California; Ione Band of Miwok Indians of California; Jackson Band of Me-Wuk Indians; Kletsel Dehe Wintun Nation of the Cortina Rancheria (previously listed as Kletsel Dehe Band of Wintun Indians); Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians, Shingle Springs Rancheria (Verona Tract), California; United Auburn Indian Community of the Auburn Rancheria of California; Wilton Rancheria, California; and the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, California. The University is unaware of any treatment of the associated funerary objects with pesticides, preservatives, or other substances that represent a potential hazard to the objects or to persons handling the objects.
