The Notice includes the following:

Human remains representing at least one individual have been identified from the Cuyama Valley Site (MWFB-7253). An unknown individual collected the ancestral remains in 1972 and transferred them to John O'Kane. John O'Kane subsequently transferred the remains to Joyce Bimson in 2000 in order to transfer to the Museum of Wildlife and Fish Biology at UC Davis. There is conflicting information regarding the location where this ancestor was found. However, the extant documentation indicates the remains are most likely from the Cuyama Valley in either Santa Barbara or San Luis Obispo County.
